More Raspberry Tart!

Oh WOW! Two posts in two weeks!!! Whats going on!

I managed to get a bit of crafty time today :-) I thought it would be the best way to avoid nervousness before starting a new job tomorrow.... Sadly it ended up making me nervous and frustrated at my workspace lol. Is it just me or does everytime you craft your desk look like a bomb has gone off? I HAVE to take a photo next time before I start cleaning it up, may be tomorrow...

So time for a card :-)

Supplies:
Stamps - The Greeting Farm Digi Stamp
Ink - Versacolor Raspberry
Card - Pink & White Cardstock and RASPBERRY TART DSP :-) (Is it just me or does this DSP make you happy lol)
Accessories - Nestabilities petite scallop oval die.

Not I did have a bit of a hiccup while making this card, namly those stupid inky fingers you seem to get! So I just kinda sponged the rest of the area lightly to cover it and make it look like it was meant to be like that! Id upload the picture showing it up close but stupid blogger not allowing it for some strange reason.

OOO Also there is a bit of a swap going on, on Splitcoaststampers between myself and a few others at this point and still working out a few kinks but were looking at doing a "happy xmas mail" not so swap swap! Basically it will work in groups of 5 and each person sends the other 4 people in the group a package of happy things, whether that be things like cards, tags, kits/bursts, 3d items or altered items. All to be in the hands of the reciever by christmas eve so we can all have a couple of happy crafting packages to open for xmas :-) If you would be interested in playing along leave me a comment and I can direct you where to go!

Oh another thing! Im thinking of trying out for SFTH's (Scrapbooks from the Heart's) Design Team! Anyone have an idea for a off the page item? I have a few things but not quite the wow factor project Im hoping for... Any ideas would be great! Not looking for the full project just like a thought that will lead to something...

Anyway have a great week! Im off to bed now to hopefully get some sleep before the big first day tomorrow!!! :-)

A Crafter's Frustration

Don't you just get frustrated when you make a card only to see there is a splodge of something that shouldnt be there! Then you remake it and think argh that isnt quite right either!

Well that was the feeling I had when making these cards. As much I love the layout its annoying that its not what is in your head :( But anyway... Here is my mistakes lol

Supplies:
Stamps - SU flower stamp set, Cristina Re stamp set (not named), generic sentiment stamps
Ink - SU Pink Passion and other pink, Tuxedo Black
Card - Pink, purple & cream card stock
Accessories - Nestabilities petite scallop oval die.

But as you can see there is a smudge on the purple one and the pink seems a but too full on... oh well maybe Ill get a chance over the weekend to try again :)

Simple Thanks

Just a small post today. But I still have posted something two weeks running! OMG Shock! lol.

Anyway, something simple today. Just a basic thankyou card to be added to the box of cards I will be donating to Ronald McDonald House Perth.

Supplies:
Stamps - Generic Thankyou stamp
Ink - Tuxedo Black
Card - Blue & Cream card stock & Stampin' Up! Tea Party DSP.
Accessories - Half back pearls

For those who dont know about the Donations to Ronald McDonald House (RMDH), Jane from SplitCoastStampers set up a plan quite some time ago to donate cards and small scrapbook layouts to the RMDH's in the US. Once I heard of this I immediately decided to bring this to Australia :-) and now will be donating boxes of cards to Perth's RMDH. If anyone is interested in donating cards to be in the boxes for Perth please leave a comment and let me know. Or, if you are in another state you can contact me about adopting your local RMDH :-)

Hope you all have a good week!
